The new 2010 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG power comes from a 6.3-litre V8 engine develops an output of 386 kW/525 hp and a torque of 630 newton metres. The high-performance roadster has also donated its AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission to the new model. The E 63 AMG accelerates from standstill to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, with a top speed of 250 km/h (electronically limited). The Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG standard features include the new drowsiness detection system ATTENTION ASSIST, the unique anticipatory occupant protection system PRE-SAFE, BAS PLUS, seven airbags and crash-responsive NECK-PRO head restraints.

Morgan Motor Company revealed a luxurious flamboyant sports car, the Aero Super Sports to celebrate the brand’s 100 yeas anniversary. The Morgan Aero SuperSports is powered with the aluminum 4.8 liter BMW V8 engine and a choice of 6 speed automatic or manual gearboxes. The company says the automatic version of the Morgan Aero Super Sports is the only one of its kind to offer such dynamic power transmission. The new Morgan Aero Super Sports is due to enter production in early 2010. A deposit of £25,000 is required to ensure the supply of one of these exciting new models. It is anticipated to cost around £127,000 including VAT.

Audi has announced that it will premiere three new models at Frankfurt Motor Show, the Audi S5 Sportback, the Audi A4 3.0 TDI quattro and the Audi A3 1.2 TFSI. The Audi S5 Sportback is powered by a 3.0 liter V6 turbo engine delivers 245 kW (333 hp) and 440 Nm (324.53 lb.-ft.) of torque between 2,900 and 5,300 rpm. The Audi S5 Sportback sprints from 0 to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 5.4 seconds. The Audi S5 Sportback top speed of 250 km/h (155.34 mph) is limited by an electronic governor. It averages just 9.7 liters of fuel per 100 km (24.25 mpg). The Audi S5 Sportback comes with a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission and quattro permanent all-wheel drive are standard equipment. Upon request, Audi will include the sport differential. It variably distributes power on the rear axle between the rear wheels. The Audi S5 Sportback has a sportily configured chassis with 18-inch aluminum wheels fitted with 245/40 tires; black brake calipers bear S5 emblems at the front. Speed-dependent servotronic steering is also standard. The Audi S5 Sportback equipment highlights include electrically adjustable S sports seats covered with Silk Nappa leather. Sales of the Audi S5 Sportback will start in Spring 2010; its basic price will be 57,900 euros.

BMW has revealed the Vision EfficientDynamics Concept, the dynamic look of a BMW sports car to a hybrid vehicle. Measuring 181.1? in length, 74.8? in width and 48.8? in height, BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Concept offers ample space for up to four passengers and their luggage. The BMW Vision EfficientDynamics concept car clearly demonstrates the potential of BMW ActiveHybrid technology, which makes its world debut at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show in the BMW ActiveHybrid X6 and BMW ActiveHybrid 7 production models. The BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Concept powertrain provides a top speed limited electronically to 155 mph, with acceleration to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. Engine output is 163 hp with peak torque of 214 lb-ft. Average fuel consumption in the EU test cycle is 3.76 liters/100 kilometers, equal to 62.6 mpg, and the CO2 emission rating is 99 grams per kilometer. For a short time, such as in passing maneuvers, the cumulative maximum output of all three engines increases to 356 hp, with maximum torque generated by the three engines reaching 590 lb-ft. BMW Vision EfficientDynamics comes with a total of 98 lithium-polymer cells, each offering a capacity of 30 amp/hours and developing continuous output of 600 Amps at a voltage of 3.7 V. For a period of 30 seconds, each cell is even able to develop maximum output of 1,200 Amps. Serial arrangement of the lithium-polymer cells serves to generate nominal voltage of 364 volts, the gross storage capacity of the battery is 10.8 kW/h. With an unusually high discharge capacity of 80 percent, the battery delivers 8.6 kW/h for driving the car. This superior performance comes on overall weight of the entire energy storage system of just 187 lb.

The McLaren MP4-12C is revealed as the first in a range of high-performance sports cars from McLaren Automotive, the independent car division based at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, England. The McLaren MP4-12C power comes from a mid-mounted 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which produces around 600 bhp and 600 Nm of torque. The McLaren MP4-12C horses are sent to the rear axle through a 7-speed dual clutch transmission developed in-house called SSG. At its heart, the McLaren MP4-12C features a revolutionary carbon fibre chassis structure, the Carbon MonoCell. The McLaren MP4-12C, is a high performance two-seat mid-engine model in the ‘core’ sports car market segment for cars costing between £125,000 and £175,000. The MP4-12C is pure McLaren, featuring no carryover parts from any other car, and will be produced by McLaren in the UK. It goes on sale through a dedicated, worldwide retailer network in early 2011.

The Toyota FT-86 Concept is a Small FR Sports Concept Vehicle that Combines Environmental Performance and the Joy of Driving TMC with a focus on hybrid technologies. TMC has developed the TOYOTA FT-86 Concept, a sports car equipped with a 2,000cc, horizontally opposed, four-cylinder, naturally-aspirated gasoline engine. The engine of the Toyota FT-86 concept is coupled with a rear-wheel drive system and a 6-speed manual transmission. The Toyota FT-86 concept measures 4,160mm in length, 1,760mm in width and 1,260mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,570mm. The Toyota FT-86 Concept is neither an electric vehicle nor a hybrid vehicle, but is a sports model with a gasoline engine developed to convey the essential appeal of automobiles in a new era.
